On 26-27 November, Seven #AustraliaAwards scholars from Mongolia participated with others from South Asia and Mongolia in the 2024 Scholars Forum in Canberra. The scholars are united by their desire to continue “Working together for a gender-equal world” the theme of the event.  

The scholars had an opportunity to hear from experts on gender equality from the Department of Foreign Affairs of Trade, the Office for Women, the education sector and non-government organisations, engage in networking, and workshop ways in which they can contribute to gender equality in their workplaces, communities and countries.

The Forum is one of a number of Australia Awards initiatives that support the Australian Government’s commitment to support gender equality globally.
